Why Planned Giving?

Making a planned gift is one of the best ways that you can help TechnoServe make a lasting difference while receiving financial and tax benefits for yourself and your family. Your philanthropic legacy is a powerful way to express your values and remind others about the difference you have made in the world. And when you make a planned gift to TechnoServe, we will be happy to also honor you as a member of the Ed Bullard Legacy Society, named after TechnoServe’s founder.

How To Make A Planned Gift To TechnoServe

We would be happy to work with you and your advisors to provide you with the information needed to structure a gift that best fulfills your charitable goals. For information on making a planned gift, please contact Abigail Corpuz, Major Gift Specialist, at acorpuz@tns.org

To bequeath assets to TechnoServe and to ensure your wishes are successfully carried out, you need to use specific language in your last will and testament:

“I give, devise and bequeath to TechnoServe (EIN #132626135) in Arlington, VA, the sum of $________  for the benefit of TechnoServe and its general purposes.”

Ed Bullard Legacy Society

Individuals who make a planned gift to TechnoServe are welcomed as members of the Ed Bullard Legacy Society, named in honor of TechnoServe’s founder. Ed believed strongly in providing a sound financial future for the organization and for the hard working men and women we serve.

When you make a planned gift to TechnoServe, you will join a community of supporters who care about making a difference in the world and want to ensure TechnoServe’s work continues well into the future. There are many benefits of membership, including:

  • Recognition on our website and in publications
  • A subscription to TechnoServe’s Quarterly newsletter
  • Special insider updates on TechnoServe’s work
  • The satisfaction of knowing that your support is truly changing lives
  • You may also receive financial or tax benefits depending on your gift
