What is a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF)?

A donor advised fund (DAF) is a charitable giving program that allows you to combine the most favorable tax benefits with the flexibility to support your favorite causes. If you have a donor advised fund, DAF Direct enables you to recommend grants to TechnoServe, directly from your DAF (as long as your DAF’s sponsoring organization is participating).

 

How Does a Donor-Advised Fund Work?

DAFs can be easily set up through a community foundation or your financial institution to serve as a flexible charitable giving vehicle. For more information on how to establish a DAF, contact your local community foundation or financial advisor.
