Technical assistance to cashew processors ramps up

From June to August, our Technical team conducted various training sessions in partner processing plants in Dabakala, Kolia, Beoumi and Yamoussoukro, Ivory Coast. More than 164 processing staff were trained in 34 sessions facilitated by our team, covering modules such as good manufacturing practices (GMP), autonomous maintenance, preventive maintenance, manual shelling and sorting, AFI quality standards training, cashew processing key performance indicators, processing and quality standard operating procedures, and burnt product training. Overall, 57% of the participants were women.
