Prosper Cashew team at the 16th ACA conference in Nigeria 

Prosper Cashew participated in the 16th annual Africa Cashew Alliance (ACA) conference in Nigeria.

From 12 – 15 September 2022, Prosper Cashew participated in the 16th ACA conference held at the Sheraton Hotel, Abuja, Nigeria. The conference with the theme of  Strengthening sustainable kernel and by-product marketing in the African cashew industry provided a platform to showcase to the multiple stakeholders in attendance the enormous potential of West Africa’s processing industry and the diversity of products resulting from cashew processing. Prosper Cashew sponsored the participation of seven partner processors from Côte d’Ivoire and Nigeria at the event and had a booth where by-products of partner processors were on display including cashew paste and cashew juice.  Team members from Prosper Cashew led conference sessions focusing on kernel and by-product processing to create a more sustainable industry in Africa, marketing of kernel and cashew by-products, and blended finance for catalyzing investments in the sector.

Prosper Cashew held a side event at the tail end of the ACA conference to update stakeholders on the project’s progress and solicit feedback on making the project most effective in Nigeria.
