TechnoServe Receives Charity Navigator’s Highest Rating Once Again
TechnoServe is among the few charities to receive four stars for third consecutive year.
JUNE 22, 2009 — TechnoServe has garnered a four-star or “exceptional” rating (the highest possible) from Charity Navigator for the third consecutive year.
To cater to donors who are increasingly demanding more accountability, transparency and quantifiable results, Charity Navigator provides objective ratings to help donors identify truly impactful philanthropic organizations. Only 11 percent of the more than 5,000 charities the group has rated have received three consecutive four-star evaluations.
“TechnoServe has earned our third consecutive four-star rating for its ability to efficiently manage and grow its finances,” said Charity Navigator President and CEO Ken Berger. “This ‘exceptional’ designation from Charity Navigator differentiates TechnoServe from its peers and demonstrates to the public it is worthy of their trust.”
“We are honored to again receive recognition from Charity Navigator for our commitment to running an impactful and sustainable operation that harnesses the power of private enterprise to transform the lives of poor people in developing countries,” said TechnoServe President and CEO Bruce McNamer.
