Become a corporate partner

Key to fighting poverty

Corporations play an incredibly important role in our ongoing efforts to create a thriving private sector in the countries where we work. In addition to critical financial support, many of our corporate partners provide market and employment opportunities for our program participants, as well as world-class business and industry expertise. From developing a sustainable supply chain that addresses cases of food insecurity to advancing job opportunities for women and youth, our corporate partners have created innovative and lasting solutions to complex poverty challenges and agricultural needs in the developing world.

So why should you partner with TechnoServe?

Global impact—Support programs that transform lives in measurable ways—for example, more employed women and young people—in some of the world’s most impoverished countries

World-class network—Join a dedicated group of corporations, foundations, public sector agencies, and individuals committed to fighting poverty and improving communities

Sustainability—Invest in a market-based approach to economic development that promotes sustainability, creates jobs, incomes, and hope instead of dependency

Direct engagement—Give time and expertise by advising on strategy or volunteering in the field

Shared value—Tap into new market and sourcing opportunities that benefit both your business and communities struggling with poverty

Focused support—Invest in TechnoServe’s global mission, or target your support to a specific program, country, or region to combat poverty

Public recognition—Gain visibility as a leader in social responsibility through joint public relations and cause marketing campaigns

Public education—Educate friends, employees, customers, and the broader public on how they can help transform lives through the creation of economic opportunity

Become a TechnoServe Fellow

Use your skills to fight poverty

Are you looking for an opportunity to make an even more direct impact on those living in poverty? Want to apply your expertise in green business? Want to know how to prevent world hunger, and do something about it?

The TechnoServe Fellows Program is a highly competitive fellowship where business professionals have the unique opportunity to contribute their skills to help change lives. They experience the field of international development firsthand while building new skills and challenging themselves in a cross-cultural and entrepreneurial environment.

Since 1996, TechnoServe has engaged over 1,200 Fellows on three- to twelve-month projects throughout Africa, India, and Latin America and the Caribbean. When it’s over, you won’t just have new skills and amazing memories, you’ll have a global alumni community representing top-tier consulting, industry, nonprofit organizations, and graduate schools.

The fellowship does not offer a salary, but TechnoServe will typically cover costs to travel to and live in-country for the duration of their projects. These costs may include international airfare, in-country accommodation and transportation, per diem expenses, visas, and other travel-related costs.

In their words

I learned a great deal about the market systems approach and how to make social endeavors truly impactful and sustainable. The generative nature of generosity

TechnoServe received a generous endowment to the Fellows Program from Board Co-chair Rachel Hines and her husband Michael Cemblast in 2023. In recognition of this generous gift, TechnoServe selects 10 Rachel Hines Fellows annually to focus on projects related to climate change and nature. The gift provides critical support over the next 20 years and make possible 200 Rachel Hines Fellows.
