Producer Organizations Activity in Uganda
With support from USAID and in partnership with the Uganda Cooperative Alliance, the TechnoServe led Producer Organization Activity promotes the development of key agricultural commodities in Uganda, including coffee, beans, horticultural produce, and maize.
The program is centered around activities to strengthen the capacity of producer organizations to become viable business entities that provide relevant services to members including the identification of market opportunities. The program also works to strengthen the enabling environment for agriculture through local advocacy.
