Director of Compliance

As the Director of Compliance, Virginia is responsible for ensuring compliance with domestic and international statutes and regulations, award terms, donor requirements, and policies and procedures within TechnoServe. She leads the process of establishing standards and implementing procedures to ensure that the compliance programs are effective and efficient in identifying , preventing, detecting, and correcting noncompliance with applicable laws and regulations, award terms and conditions, donors requirements and policies and procedures.

Virginia bring an extensive development experience working for International Development Organizations in Africa, Asia and Latin America. Most recently, she established and maintained Heifer International’s Compliance program and lead the development of a system to ensure higher levels of accountability and compliance within the organization.
