Tim is an advisory director to the firm, head of the Santiago office and a senior advisor for Latin America. He also co-heads the investment banking business across the Andean Region, which includes Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Peru.
Tim joined Goldman Sachs in 1988 as a financial analyst and rejoined the firm after business school in 1991 as an associate in Corporate Finance. He was named managing director in 1999 and partner in 2004.
Tim is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and chairs Annual Giving at Princeton University. He also serves on the boards of the Americas Society, Friends of the Catholic University of Chile, the North American Chilean Chamber of Commerce, PILA, Princeton’s Program in Latin American Studies and TechnoServe.
Tim earned an MBA from INSEAD in France and a BA from Princeton University.
