Country Director, Uganda

As Country Director, Juliet is the team leader of Technoserve Uganda.

Prior to her appointment as the Country Director, Juliet was the Executive Director of Uganda Biodiversity Fund, a Conservation Organization mandated to mobilize, manage and channel funds for Biodiversity Conservation in Uganda.

Previously, Juliet Worked with MicroEnsure, one of the organizations that pioneered the development and distribution of Micro Insurance products and Weather Index Insurance products in Africa, Asia, and the Caribbean. Her interface with farmers whose livelihoods were being impacted by the severe impacts of climate change – droughts, hurricanes, floods, and others shaped her resolve to contribute to the mitigation of the effects of climate change and to work with the vulnerable to adapt to the changing conditions. Joining Technoserve was, in a way, a blessing to working directly with the Low-income farmers on the grass root and helping in building their livelihoods, but also contributing to the agriculture sector that raised her.

Juliet has Experience in Managing Distribution systems and marketing of Fast Moving Consumer Goods gained from Nestle and East African Breweries Ltd. Juliet Holds a master of Business Administration (Finance) from Makerere University Business School.
