Bayella is an experienced operational executive with over 27 years of experience in Africa and Europe. Prior to joining TechnoServe, Bayella was the managing director for Africa of a leading food, feed, agricultural, and consumer goods company (Mitsui – Novus International, ADM ).

Bayella has been engaged in various roles before. He began his career in France, where he spent seven years as a management consultant in leading consulting firms (Accenture, Cap Gemini, Ernst & Young). He then moved back to Africa and became the lead operational coordinator and managing director of a respected consulting and management services firm in French-speaking sub-Saharan Africa.

A native of Dakar, Senegal, Bayella holds a French Graduate Engineering Degree in Food Industry “Diplôme d’Ingénieur” and a master’s degree in Business and Marketing of Food Industry. He also holds an Executive MBA from HEC Business School.
